Opis w języku angielskim:
"The .RAT (Regime of Authoritarian Tetrarchs - the New World's government), has created the ultimate weapon - A Killswitch in case the world's A.i. gets out of hand, aptly named ZeroDay.exe. Unfortunately, the .RAT also doesn't think too far in advance. Their precious A.i. learned of this weapon and were...angry, to say the least. The A.i. decided to take control of the program and have started targeting our bio-cybernetics (cybers). At first, they only targeted the .RAT and those close to it here in Shijima - the capital city - so us commoners didn't care much about it - hell, some were even happy about it. But recently there have been attacks against anyone the A.i. deems a threat…which is basically every human with cybers.
We didn’t want (or try) to get caught up in this fight, but here we are. Now, we’re on the A.i.’s shortlist, so the only thing left to do is infiltrate their databanks and destroy them before they get to us. And I guess if we save some lives, that’s a plus." - Syn
Take on the role of one of 8 unique characters and fight to reclaim the city of Shijima in this Cyberpunk-syle, cooperative Rogue-lite dungeon crawler with three ways play:
Story Mode - Play through all 20 Operations, each with its own story and set of characters to play.
Operation Mode - Play 3 random Operations and 1 Boss Operation for a mini-campaign experience.
One-Shot Mode - Play through 1 random Operation and 1 Boss Operation for a 1-shot experience.
On your turn, you will have 2 action points to spend on a variety of different actions.
Load Hacks to your Processing Track by paying their PRGM cost - a specific pattern of 3 PRGM tiles that must match in color and position in order to play the hacks. Or save Hacks to play them for a secondary ability outside of your turn that will assist your allies!
Attack enemies using your weapon. Each weapon deals either Cyber or Physical damage, so you must be strategic in your attack as enemies will have different resistances each round from one type of damage. You may even need to purchase a new weapon so you can swap between the two and deal either type of damage when necessary.
Recharge to gain life and re-PRGM your PRGM tiles in order to form new patterns to use for Hacks.
Access terminals mid-Operation to gain instant stat bonuses for yourself and your allies.
Mechanics:
Deterministic Combat - No dice rolling or card flipping. You will need to be very strategic in how you fight the enemies!
Hand Management - Each round you'll choose a card to play for initiative, discarding it after revealing. Throughout the game you'll be buying new Hacks to add to your hand. You'll need to play the right Hacks at the right time, save Hacks to assist your allies in fights!
PRGM Patterns - Each Hack has a PRGM cost - a set of 1-3 tiles that must match in color and position on your player board - to play. When you play a Hack, you flip the tiles matching it's PRGM cost over, creating a new pattern with the backside of the tiles. Plan ahead to combo Hacks and chain PRGM costs to shift the balance in battle.
A.i. Threat and Initiative - Each round, players and enemies will be placed in order on an initiative track, determining turn order. Play faster initiative cards to go before the enemies, but be careful! The faster you go, the more Threat you'll gain, raising the A.i. Threat level and giving your enemies upgrades to damage or defense, adding status effects to their attacks, or if you go too fast, hitting their overload card giving them a 1-time effect that could devastate you and your allies!
Level up your character during operations, not after, by accessing terminals to raise stats, competing contracts to instantly Gain Data and use it to purchase new Hacks, body Mods, items, and weapons.
Strategic Positioning - Take the high ground by moving into elevation spaces and gaining benefits to defense and range. Use obstacles to your advantage to keep enemies from reaching you.
