Opis w języku angielskim: The Republic of Rome Remastered is a game of negotiation, power and betrayal that simulates the 250 years of history between the First Punic War (264 B.C.) and the Civil War that followed the assassination of Julius Caesar (44 B.C.)
Each player will lead a political faction which includes senators from the most prominent families in the Republic. Players will compete against each other for government positions, economic concessions, control of the armies, and to attract new members to their faction, all with the ultimate goal of becoming the dominant political faction in Rome. Players will not only have to contend with each other, but also with the game itself, as Rome will be in constant danger. All players will lose the game if wars are not properly managed, if discontent turns into popular revolt, or if the Republic goes bankrupt. At the same time, players will have to cooperate closely to push through laws to manage internal politics and preserve social peace, declare wars to expand the borders of the Republic, or confront enemies who seek to destroy Rome. They will also have to compromise to attend to the recreational and religious needs of the people, purge the corrupt from office, and much, much more.
Thus, in order to win the game, players will need to balance service to Rome with personal gain. Usually, the faction with the most total influence will win the game, if Rome prevails. However, if a single senator stands out individually, he may aspire to become Dictator for life and achieve victory for his faction. The most dramatic and difficult path to victory is to revolt against the senate to seize power by force of arms.
This is an all-new edition that builds on the original and adds many new features that will make The Republic of Rome a fresh experience both for old and new players. These are the most relevant new features in The Republic of Rome Remastered:

The game’s graphic design has been entirely reworked, including new illustrations for all the game components.
For the first time, miniature busts are included to represent the main political offices in the game, while the option of using tokens is maintained for those who prefer them.
The board has been fully redesigned to reduce the demand for table space, and all tables will be moved to a Play Aid for the Herald of the senate.

The influence of games and religious affairs in the Republic has been emphasized.
The rules have been completely rewritten and numerous examples have been added to facilitate learning and playing the game. In addition, a Playbook has been included with extended examples of play.
A set of new optional rules has been developed to mitigate the influence of luck during the game.
We are also working on a new solitaire mode to streamline solo gameplay and on the introduction of improved bots for 2- and 3-player games. All this and much more awaits you in The Republic of Rome Remastered!
