We hope you enjoy this exciting odyssey throughout the world of Verne, and wish you the best of luck on your journey! Verne is played with 3–4 players aged 7+, with 4 players being ideal. A game of Verne typically lasts between 1-2 hours, however, particularly strategic games may be longer. While Verne at its most basic level is played by rolling dice, exchanging coins, and drawing cards, Verne truly shines when players understand and take advantage of the complex interactions that can arise between players. The goal of Verne is to obtain Quest Points, or QP. Quest Points are awarded to players for completing objectives, called Quests. Some QP can be gained or lost throughout the game, and multiple players can earn QP for the same Quest. The game ends when a player runs out of capital, or the timer set by the game group finishes. —description from the designer
