Introducing a new Secondary Producer: The Splotter Autter
Splotter Autters may only be built on Polder tiles. The cost to build a Splotter Autter is two Boards, one Stone, and one Gold. Only one Splotter Autter may be built on each Polder tile. This building works slightly differently from other Secondary Producers of Goods in that its output is dependent on the presence of a transporter on its tile and, if present, what that transporter is carrying.
During the Production phase, if a transporter carrying one or two Gold is on the tile of a Splotter Autter and has the carrying capacity to accept its output, the Splotter Autter will consume one Gold carried by the transporter and output two Gold, loading them directly back onto that same transporter. If the transporter is instead carrying three or more Gold, the Splotter Autter will consume the three Gold and output one Coins back onto that same transporter. If the active player has multiple transporters that satisfy the prioritized condition on the same tile, that player may choose which transporter provides the consumed Gold and accepts the building’s output. If instead no transporter is present, or if Gold, Coins, or Stock are on the tile but not held by a transporter, the Splotter Autter will consume any Gold, Coins, or Stock on the tile that is not held by a transporter. The production capacity of each Splotter Autter is one, though a Manager can be used to double its capacity, of course.
