Pariah Card Game

As the Elementals awaken, the fragile Order the God Pariah imposed upon ancient Chaos is threatened, and his world begins to tear itself apart.

Pariah is a dark-fantasy tactical battle game where players control opposing armies on a shared battlefield. Choose from four factions, the Humans of Cimeria, the Elementals, the Beastmen, and the Undead, each with distinct playstyles built around positioning, timing, and unit synergies. The game is designed to bring the feel of wargame-style army clashes and battlefield tactics to a non-TCG card game format.

Each player uses a 30-card unit deck, consisting of two copies of 15 unique unit cards. After drawing 10 cards, players secretly build a starting army worth up to 20 points, then deploy units alternately into the battle line, where formation and adjacency come into play. The game lasts up to 5 combat rounds, with units activating based on their Priority to attack or use abilities, while the evolving board state rewards smart trades and protecting key units.

When units are destroyed, the controlling player gains Elemental Energy equal to their point cost. Between rounds, players enter a Shop Phase to spend Energy on Relics and Evolutions that power their army. You win by Annihilation if you destroy all enemy units before the end of Round 5; otherwise, after Round 5 the winner is decided by Attrition: the player with the higher total point value of surviving units wins.
