Witch Hunter is a solo card game where you step into a land choked by curses, crawling with monsters, and abandoned by hope. As a Witch Hunter, driven by grim resolve, you take on contracts no one else survives. Trading pain, preparation, and willpower to hold the darkness at bay. Every hunt is brutal and personal, where steel, alchemy, and hard choices decide whether the land is cleansed or claimed by terror.
Each Monster you face is a living threat, fueled by dread and corruption that spreads across the world as Doom. Left unchecked, the Monster’s influence grows stronger, warping the battlefield with curses, minions, and escalating horrors. The longer a hunt drags on, the more desperate it becomes—forcing you to decide when to press the attack, when to endure, and when to sacrifice safety for victory.
In Witch Hunter, you begin by choosing a Witch Hunter and an Aspect that defines your approach, then shuffling those two decks together to form your personal deck. Next, select a Monster to hunt, each with its own deck, mechanics, and escalating terror. Each round, you play cards by discarding others to pay their cost, balancing offense, defense, and threat management as the Monster attacks, terrorizes, and unleashes minions. Win by slaying the Monster and breaking its grip on the land. Fail, and the world falls one hunt closer to oblivion.
