It's a fast-paced, turn-free game in which players must search for tension cards that increase the tension of other players' volcanoes. Tension cards range from 1 to 9 and must be played on top of opposing volcanoes in consecutive order. However, there are double tension cards that are an exception to this rule. If you find an eruption card and there is a volcano at tension level 9, make it erupt and remove it from the game! When searching for cards, if you can play them, place them on an enemy volcano; otherwise, return them to the pile in the center of the table, face down. However, there are fixed tension cards that are not returned face down, but face up. With extremely simple and quick setup, and frenetic gameplay, the player elimination mechanic feels effortless and facilitates the feeling of claiming a fair rematch.
