Vita Nova is a board game for 2 to 4 players set in a near-future utopian society ruled by sentient artificial intelligences. Each player is a biomechanical engineer who uses cards, cells, and blood to build their human prototype. Cells act as workers that activate organs, while blood is used to obtain and upgrade modules. Every organ you connect provides abilities, resources, or points, and the combinations between them create synergies that strengthen your laboratory.
The game is played over three phases, each offering scoring opportunities. At the end of the final phase, the player who has assembled the most efficient prototype and accumulated the highest score is declared the winner.
