Urban Operations: Second Edition

Opis w języku angielskim: Urban Operations: Second Edition is a game that simulates modern tactical combat in a range of historical and hypothetical urban settings. It uses unique mechanics for chain of command, logistical support, collateral damage and close-quarters combat resolution. Blocks for units and concealed (face-down) elements of the board capture the fog of war. The game was initially developed as a training tool for France's National Centre of Excellence for Urban Warfare Training. It will appeal to anyone interested in learning and applying modern urban combat fighting techniques, and re-creating the action from the 16 scenarios in the game, including: Mogadishu (1993) - six scenarios of Western units battling Somali militia Fulda (1985) - six scenarios of a hypothetical WW3 battle between Soviet and NATO forces Other single scenario settings including USMC in Fallujah (2004), the British in Basra (2003), and the Russians in Groszy (1999).
