In this version of Tower of Gods, you'll battle Greek myths and gods. New mechanics, such as item collection, have been introduced.
You can play Tower of Gods: Olympus without needing Tower of Gods: Cthulhu. The two games share 95% of their rules.
In Tower of Gods, our heroes will climb the tower’s staircases and walkways, defeating Lovecraftian gods and monsters that guard treasures of gold and gems.
For each of the 15 rounds of the game, one player rolls the dice and all players draft 2 dice.
At the same time, players may take a turn and use these dice to attack monsters or explore staircases and walkways between rooms.
Each monster requires a specific combination of dice and/or wild cards to be defeated. Once defeated, it will grant a gold reward (which is higher if you are the first to defeat it) and allow you to earn an additional reward, which can be: more money, a life, a ruby, a diamond, a wild card, or an extra die.
Rubies accumulate to grant us extra gold, and diamonds allow us to purchase upgrades.
At the end of the game, we’ll have to count all the gold we’ve earned; the player with the most gold is the winner.
