The Witch of 1918 will transport you to the somber aftermath of the Great War. While the conflict has officially ended, its echoes haunt the world in the form of "Battle Fairies"—girls magically modified into living weapons of war. As a Witch Physician, you have opened a specialized clinic to treat the indelible psychological scars left upon their spirits.
In this strategic card-management and tile-placement game, you will manage your clinic over eight days (rounds). Each round, you must navigate through several critical phases to save those broken by war:
Auction phase: You must manage your Weight cards carefully, placing them face-down to secretly allocate your influence between neighboring towns. Once all players have passed, the cards are revealed, and the total influence determines the drafting order for new patients and essential herb tiles.
Harvest phase: Arrange your acquired herb tiles into your personal garden to form specific patterns. Creating a "Garden" or a "Trail" triggers powerful production combos, allowing you to harvest the magical resources needed for your medicine.
Healing phase: Strategically assign your harvested herbs to your patients. You can aim for a "Perfect Cure" to receive maximum rewards and reputation, or choose an "Emergency Cure" at a critical moment to stabilize a patient with fewer resources.
Clinic Expansion phase: Cured patients don't just leave; they stay to assist your clinic. Based on their unique abilities—whether one-time, ongoing, or end-game—they will provide the leverage you need to stay ahead of the competition .
The goal is to accumulate the most Credit through successful treatments, strategic set collection of patient symptoms, and overall clinic performance.
