The Green Star is a tactile, narrative-driven escape room game designed for home printing. Set at a remote observatory in 1953, players take on the role of agents conducting surveillance on a disgraced astronomer obsessed with a mysterious celestial signal known as the Green Star.
Gameplay centers on a printable mission dossier. Players must physically manipulate these documents by cutting, folding, and aligning paper components to decode hidden messages and solve nine interrelated puzzles to advance the story.
A browser-based digital companion app supports the experience by simulating the Bancroft Telescope Control Panel. This interface provides verification for puzzle solutions and offers hints as players focus on the physical investigation of the dossier.
