Opis w języku angielskim:
The Great Commission: Strategic Card Game is an exciting tableau-building game of resource management, engine building, risk-taking & divine intervention. The aim is to share the gospel and assemble your church before your time runs out! Up to three players have limited time to build and protect the community in simultaneous cooperative play or a single player can take on the challenge in a fully developed solo mode. The game is set in the first-century Roman Empire and the historically rich artwork is drawn from the Acts of the Apostles: Word for Word Bible Comic.
Each player starts the game with a location for their church (Rome, Jerusalem etc), an apostle to lead it (Peter, Paul, James etc) and a handful of initial church members with which to begin sharing the Good News and "make disciples of all nations". These combinations will strongly influence different play styles as you navigate the strengths and weaknesses of your initial card combination. The game has a number of ways in which you can increase or decrease the difficulty for new or experienced players.
Efficiently utilising the unique gifts and abilities of your church's leader and team members can result in satisfying engine-building mechanics involving strategy, cooperation and careful resource management as you try to beat the clock!
Over time your church is very likely to accrue troubles like persecution, internal struggles and spiritual attacks that must be dealt with using acts of wisdom and/or acts of faith. If this is not resolved effectively it will harm and eventually kill the life of the church, losing the game.
Powerful "Event Cards" will "turn the world upside down" for better or worse, rocking your strategy, giving unexpected boons or putting temporary roadblocks in your way. However, the game-changing "Heaven Cards" can be utilised to call upon divine intervention or potent spiritual gifts like prophecy, exorcism or even resurrection into play!
-description from designer
Players are encouraged to communicate freely and may choose who does what and in which order. To win the game, churches must bring salvation to every person in the "World Deck" before the "Event Deck" is emptied and you run out of time! You will also need to be extra diligent at identifying and dealing with various troubles in the church causing you to lose the game.
