Snatch Highrise is an abstract strategy game about building high-rises and taking control of high-rise buildings from other players. Players control construction blocks, move them between towers, and try to complete buildings before their opponent. Players must plan their positions, create strong groups, and seize the initiative. The winner is the player who has completed the most buildings by the end of the game.

At the start of the game, 10 building sites (stacks) are placed on the board: nine normal ones (1–9) and one golden site (★). Each player has 70 construction blocks of their color. The first player begins by placing one block on any site. After that, the second player may swap colors if they believe the starting position is too advantageous.

Each turn has two phases.
First, the player may move the top group of blocks of the same color from one stack to another — either to an empty site or to a site where the top block is the same color. You may move both your own blocks and your opponent’s blocks, but the group cannot be split.
Second, the player adds 1–3 blocks, placing them on no more than two stacks.

When a stack reaches 11 blocks, a building is considered completed, and the owner is the player whose block is on top. A building can only be completed through movement, not by placing blocks. Only one building may be completed per turn.

At the end of the game, the player who has built the most buildings wins. If the score is 5–5, the golden site (★) determines the winner.
