In Shout the Clue, players work as a team to guess as many words as possible before time runs out. One player, the Decoder, attempts to guess the word based on clues shouted by the other players, known as Informants. However, each Informant must follow a specific constraint that limits the types of clues they can give, adding a fun challenge. The sand timer adds pressure, and if the Decoder doesn’t guess correctly before time is up, the Fiasco token moves closer to the bomb.
The game is played in rounds, with players rotating roles. If the Fiasco token reaches the bomb, the game ends in failure. If every player has been the Decoder without the token exploding, the team wins. The game emphasizes quick thinking, teamwork, and creative clue-giving.
