Schlock!

'Schlock! B-Movie Magnate' is a word drafting game in which players assume the role of B-movie makers during the golden age of Hollywood, racing to create outrageous low-budget films for release to hungry audiences.

Players will compete in the Backlot to get the word and picture tiles they need to make their movies. A neat mechanic allows you to trade off between turn order and getting more tiles or better audience. Choose the right tiles to attract your audience...and creatively put together the most fun Science Fiction, Horror and Western B-movie titles!

When ready, players will release their movies, maybe explaining a little of the crazy plot..."Ancient Planet of the Invisible Virus...in 3D! " - pardon? Players are awarded an opening night bonus which decreases as the game goes on...Do you release now and get a good opening night, or wait to make a better movie? - Your choice!

When a player releases their third movie, the end of the game is triggered. The round is completed and other players complete their remaining movies. Movies are then scored according to how well the movie matches each of the three types of audience. Players may have fun rating each other's movies and then the player with the most Fame wins.
