🌿 Overview
Nestled within the Imperial City of Huế, Kien Trung Palace once stood as one of the grandest landmarks of the Nguyễn Dynasty. Its architecture was uniquely adorned with Khảm sành sứ, a traditional Vietnamese mosaic art made from broken ceramic and porcelain shards, handcrafted by artisans to decorate the palace’s exteriors with shimmering patterns.
Destroyed in 1947, it lay in ruins until its real-life restoration began in 2019.
Restoration: Kien Trung Palace invites players to relive that journey — to rebuild, innovate, and preserve this cultural treasure.
🧱 Gameplay
Across three years of construction, players act as restoration experts, balancing planning, craftsmanship, and influence.
Each year consists of two main phases:
Construction Phase: Place workers or artisans at warehouse gates (five interconnected rondel boards) to trigger actions and advance progress on various building projects.
Evaluation Phase: Compare influence across warehouse zones and community support to recruit new artisans and determine the next starting player.
Earn Achievement Points through completed buildings, technological advancements, management cards, and your growing team of artisans.
⚙️ Key Mechanics
Worker Placement & Area Control: Every placement impacts both your actions and your standing in key areas.
Five Interconnected Rondel Boards: The warehouse network forms the heart of the game — each rondel connects to others in many ways, creating replayability, dynamic chain reactions, and strategic movement puzzles.
Development Tracks: Advance in Technology for efficiency and new workers, or in Community Support to gain re-recruit ability
Management Cards: Provide flexible instant effects for strategic timing.
🏆 End of the Game
