In Raindrops, players observe drops sliding down a window and identify their patterns, as their mind drifts to forgotten memories to be reconstructed.
Raindrops is a tile-collection and pattern-recognition game for 2–4 players. On their turn, players select a continuous downward path of matching symbols on a shared window board, starting from the top row and moving to adjacent spaces below or diagonally. All tiles in the path are collected, the remaining tiles slide downward, and the board is refilled from a bag.
Collected tiles are used to complete personal Memory cards, which require specific symbol patterns. Bonus tiles can substitute symbols or modify tiles, while reaching the bottom row can award hidden-value Thunder tokens. Completing Memory cards scores points and may allow players to claim Cloud tokens with additional scoring conditions.
The game ends when a player completes ten Memory cards or the bag is emptied for the second time. Final scoring includes completed cards, tokens, bonuses, and partially completed patterns.
