Project Skyline is a city building game with a unique blend of strategic deck-building and area control in three dimensions. Each game will take 2-4 players to a famous city such as New York or Tokyo, where they will collectively shape the skyline of the city while trying to stay on top of the competition.
The goal of the game is simple: whoever has the most money at the end of the game is the winner. The road to victory however may prove not as straightforward. Throughout the game, players will gain money by building apartments in the city and spend money to improve their personal decks of construction cards, allowing them to build more efficiently or unlocking completely new avenues of scoring altogether. Finding the right balance between investment and pay-off is the key to success.
At the end of each turn, the current player will score all monuments in the city that they have connected to the central landmark. The twist: Only the topmost apartment in each building counts towards connections, locking the players in a tense back-and-forth race for those precious top spots in the most important buildings. Can you win the race to the top or will you find a different route to victory?
