Your cadre of 2-6 professional thieves has stolen the library of Count Vanderhorde, the world’s greatest collection of strange and marvelous treasures from throughout history. Now it’s time for the part you didn’t plan: divvying up the goods.
In Post-Heist, players pass a shared hand of cards around the table, taking one for themselves each turn, with the goal of collecting a pile worth the most gold by the end of the game. A wide variety of magical effects allow players to steal, play extra cards, and open up other synergies and routes to victory. Treasures can be protected by playing them face-down, or by stashing three treasures of the same type. There are also traps throughout the deck, which can be used to interrupt opponents' turns and derail their plans.
There are also 12 curses shuffled into the deck, which subtract from a player's score. Additionally, once there are twice as many curses in play as there are players, the group must flee from Vanderhorde's dark magic, and the game ends, keeping it a mystery which turn will be the last until the moment it comes.
