Piraterie

Piraterie is an open sea, pirate adventure game. Players compete as one of up to 8 pirate captains who are roaming the seas seeking plunder in order to earn the mighty pirate flagship Piraterie. This is accomplished by collecting treasure chests one by one and delivering them to the center of the map without being sunk along the way. Sink another player and you can claim the treasure they were carrying for yourself!

Gameplay is very interactive; players are openly competing against one another as well as the game itself. Fortunes can dramatically turn quite rapidly, and as a non-elimination game, a clear victor is not decided until the final moments. Combat varies thru numerous cards and game events. How and when players engage in combat can change the entire game quickly.

In Piraterie, it's all about the treasure, but how you get the treasure is your choice! Play peacefully and hunt for it in treasure ports while trying to avoid other ships. Play opportunistically and wait for the right moment to scoop up an unclaimed treasure chest or fall on a wounded naval ship. Or play aggressively and become a true scourge of the sea as you chase down other players to sink and claim their hard-earned treasure chests for yourself. Whether you get your treasure through theft, blackmail, extortion, discovery, raiding, pillaging, plundering, coercion, or even by succumbing to begging does not matter. Just be the first scurvy dog to safely deliver 3 chests to Captain Cain at the center of the map and claim the Piraterie!
