It smells like summer — and someone just raided your fridge.
PINKO! is a lively card game inspired by šaltibarščiai, the beloved Lithuanian cold beet soup also known as Pink Soup. Race to collect the right ingredients, snatch them from your neighbors, and when you've got the winning combination — shout PINKO!
Each turn, you take one ingredient card (from the face-up table or the deck) and optionally place a card from your hand or play an action card. Two winning combinations are possible: collect 7 different ingredients for the full "grandma's recipe" (7 points), or aim for the budget-friendly Student's Pink Soup — just kefir, beetroot, cucumber, and potatoes — for a quick 4 points.
The kitchen, however, is not a safe place. Action cards spice things up: the Blender lets you peek at a rival's hand and steal a card — potentially ruining their winning recipe at the last moment. The Ladle lets you draw two extra ingredients. The Jar acts as a wild card joker. But watch out for the Fly (−1 penalty point) and the Cat (cancels your score entirely) — you'd rather swap them than be caught holding them at the end of a round.
Once a player shouts PINKO!, all remaining players get one final turn — enough time for a Blender to steal a critical ingredient and flip the outcome. Points are tallied, and the game continues for one more round than the number of players. The player with the most points after all rounds wins.
