Welcome to the archipelago where migratory birds rule! In Peacock, each player orchestrates their islands, attracts colorful flocks, and tries to collect as many feathers as possible throughout the three seasons.
Game Overview
The game is played over three rounds, called "Seasons."
Distribution and Drafting
Players receive "Bird" and "Island" cards, then draft them.
Migration
Players place islands (or improve existing ones) to generate resources (plants, fish, meat). They must then place their birds on valid locations that meet their nutritional needs.
Scoring
Points are calculated based on the value of the birds placed and various bonuses (complete flocks, species compatibility, bonus resources).
Season Change
A core game mechanic requires players to rotate their Island cards at the end of each round, thus changing the available resources and habitat viability for the next round.
End of Game
Once the 3rd season is over, the game is finished! Add up the scores from all 3 seasons, and the player with the highest score is declared the winner.
