It's another busy day at the Aster-3B Galactic Shipyard and that means you'll be racing your fellow mechanics to complete all available ship orders before they expire. Grab your materials and blueprints so you can start building some spaceships!
Build spaceships to earn cubits, otherwise known as "bits" and make sure you don't leave a job half completed or a lawsuit will dig into your paycheck. Once it's time to clock out, whoever collected the most cubits wins!
How To Play (Overview)
On a player's turn, they draft dice from a common pool so that they gain six ship parts. The Dice Drafting mechanic in this game ensures each player gains six ship parts on their turn regardless of small or large dice rolls. This removes the "Dice Hate Me" issue of small rolls.
After gaining ship parts, the player either builds a single spaceship of their choice that they have the parts to build, train in a specific ship part installation method, or pass the turn to prepare to build a more important ship.
Whenever the dice need to be re-rolled, the Shipyard rotates on its axis and any ships that were not built fast enough will enter the scrapyard. Whichever players have the most ship materials matching each ship gains a lawsuit which are negative 2 Cubits (victory points) at the end of the game.
Another exciting feature of the game is a variable Dayshift Deck and variable Nightshift Deck that tracks the number of turns in the game as well as adding special abilities and events to make each game unique.
