At the beginning of summer, mosquitoes swarm around the pond.
Fortunately, this is a feast for many animals!
The swift dragonfly, the placid frog, the fluttering swallow, the clever perch or the greedy pipistrelle will help you catch them.
As for the cunning heron, it could well come and spoil everything!
In Mosquitos, players move the animals (pawns shared by all) using their cards to catch the mosquitoes.
Each player takes a set of cards, in equal numbers, and selects one to reveal at the same time. The chosen animals are played in order.
Heron (1), Dragonfly (2), Frog (3), Swallow (4), Perch (5) and Pipistrelle (6).
If several players have selected a card with the same number, the first to play the animal is the player with the Heron token, or the player closest to it in a clockwise direction.
Each animal card performs a different action that affects the turn, but also the other players.
The game ends at the end of the 10th day and the player who has collected the most mosquitoes (points) wins!
