In ancient Rome, the gods are powerful, capricious, and full of intrigue.
Each turn, the players (as Senators) may perform 1 of 4 possible actions. Normally they want to send 1 of their Messengers to 1 out of the 6 currently available gods to perform actions related to them and ultimately win their favor. But be aware: the other senators may follow your action by sending 1 of their own Messengers to the temple track to perform one of the chosen gods' actions as well.
If a Senator is out of Messengers he may either remove all of them from the temple track to receive gold and VP or from any of the god cards.
When a Senator has a majority on 1 of the god cards at the start of his turn he will win his favor token which will yield VP at the end of the game. The god is removed and replaced with a new god card and a new favor token.
Discord, envy, and foul play rule the political arena. Who will master the influence of the gods, gather the most Prestige Points, and rise to become the most powerful Senator in Rome?
