Knights Out is a ritualistic, card-driven tactical duel for 1–2 players. The game is entirely Free-to-Play and requires only a single standard 52-card deck and two tokens to play.
The Trial of the Line
In the sunless depths of the Iron Canyons, the Silent God watches from a rift in the sky, demanding a sacrifice of weight and will. You are a Knight cast upon a crumbling five-card bridge over the abyss. Your objective is not glory, but survival: you must earn the God’s Favors by paying The Toll and casting your opponent into the void as an Offering.
Knights Out reimagines the standard deck of cards as a visceral combat engine. Players "purge" the deck down to values 2–10 to create a high-tension environment where every card matters.
No specialized components required. Use your Spades to push, your Hearts to block, and your Clubs to advance.
Each round, players secretly commit to a sequence of three actions. Success depends on reading your opponent's intent and anticipating the "Whiff"—the moment your strike hits empty air because your foe has already moved.
Face the Hollow Knight, an adaptive AI that reacts to your proximity and reveals an "Omen" (a face-up card) before you program your turn. It turns a standard deck of cards into a challenging, puzzle-like boss fight.
Zero Cost: Grab any deck of cards and start the ritual.
Travel-Friendly: Requires very little table space; perfect for dueling at a tavern or on the go.
