Gnoooomes: The Hunt for the Scepter of Valmora is a family-friendly exploration and deduction game in which players venture into a vast enchanted forest in search of the legendary Scepter of Valmora. Hidden somewhere in the forest, the Scepter's location is determined by the game's companion app at the beginning of each game.

Players travel through four distinct territories, collecting gold nuggets and exchanging them for clues from the gnomes they encounter. These clues provide information about the direction to the Scepter, but not every gnome is equally trustworthy. Players must analyze the information they receive, decide which clues to trust, and use deduction to narrow down the Scepter's location.

Along the way, players can use underground passages and encounter roadblocks that temporarily affect movement through the forest. The first player to correctly locate the Scepter of Valmora wins the game.
