Opis w języku angielskim:
Friends 'n' Foes is a 2 player handheld card battle game, where neither friends nor foes are "forever".
Each game the 2 players take turns in challenging the other player's team to fight, flight, freeze or fawn.
You attack, run, hide or use magic to trick and outwit the other team - all in the palm of your hand.
The first player, who runs the other player's team out of spoons or out of friends wins the game.
Friends 'n' Foes is played with 6 cards (a team) per player plus 1 spoon card to track the energy available to each player. Each round you choose which challenge you want to play, but you have to play with the first card in your hand. Some challenges are for free while some have a cost. Some challenges you play out in the open while others are hidden and leave room for bluffing.
The other player can choose from the first 2 cards in their hand how they want to react to a challenge. Each challenge has different options to choose from as well as different kinds of possible outcomes. A challenge with a cost may result in winning a member of the other team over while a hidden challenge may be more effective in running the other team out of spoons.
You may also choose to recharge your spoon card, but you have to sacrifice one of your own friends in order to do so. Too bad, that sacrificed team-members are exhausted and out of play for the rest of the game.
The rookie mode is useful to familiarize the players with the game mechanics, but the pro-mode is, when the game design really comes to full play.
The game comes with 36 friends/team-member cards and lets you choose to play with randomised team decks, with teams by color or even build/choose your own deck.
(All cards are randomly selected and distributed to each game out of a total of 216, so no game contains the same set of cards.)
Both spoon cards are double-sided to suit both, right- and left-handed people alike.
