Discovered by accident, Isla Lagarto is home to the last living examples of prehistoric life on earth. A private consortium took control of the island, modified it for people's entertainment, and The Raptor Games were born. Thrill seekers from around the globe join the event in hopes of being the sole survivor and taking home the billion dollar prize. The Raptors who hunt as if with a shared brain, are the most formidable foes for these contestants. Their speed is blinding and many consider them the real stars of the show. As long as the Raptors stay together, not even highly trained soldiers stand a chance. Some contestants join the event to end the games for good, by clearing the island of every Raptor - several have tried but no one has succeeded.
