Place the 5 colour cards face up in the middle of the table and the 2 vogue cards to the above left of the row. Shuffle the dress cards and deal 12 cards face down to each player to form their hand. You may look at your hand but must keep it hidden from the other players. Place any remaining dress cards face down as a deck in the middle of the table. Each game has 12 rounds, with the rounds each representing a month of the year. At the beginning of EACH MONTH (round), turn over from the deck the correct number of cards for the player count. Place the dress cards you have turned over in a horizontal row in the middle of the table. Starting with the first player, and then continuing clockwise, the active player MUST play a dress card from their hand FACE UP in the middle of the table NEXT TO the last revealed card. During your turn, if you wish, you MAY also choose to predict which colour will be in vogue AT THE END OF THE YEAR, once per game. If you do, take that colour card from the middle of the table and place it face up in front of yourself. This card cannot be swapped later on. At the end of each month, once all players have completed their turn, there will be 5 dress cards in the middle of the table. You finish the round by determining which two colours are most in vogue that month. The colour most in vogue is the colour with the HIGHEST NUMBER OF CARDS in the row. The colour second-most in vogue is the colour with the SECOND-HIGHEST NUMBER OF CARDS in the row. In case of a tie, the colour most in vogue is the colour of the LAST-PLAYED DRESS CARD (rightmost) among the tied colours. As a reminder of the colours most in vogue, at the end of each month, you place a dress card of the colour most in vogue and a dress card of the colour second-most in vogue next to the corresponding vogue cards. Overlap these reminder dress cards so that they are all visible. The other three dress cards are discarded. Then the first player passes the first-player card to the player on their left, who becomes the new first player. To begin the new month (round), draw and place down the number of dress cards stated in the setup instructions. If you have only one dress card left in your hand and have not yet taken a colour card from the table, you must do so before the final round. After 12 months (rounds) have been played, and so all players have played all their dress cards from their hand, the game ends. Proceed to scoring. A player scores 1 point for each dress card of their chosen colour in the row next to the ×1 vogue card, and 2 points for each dress card of their chosen colour in the row next to the ×2 vogue card. The player whose colour has scored them the most points wins the game. In the event of a tie, victory is shared.
