Cosmic Command

Cosmic Command is a two player tactical card game in which players command four teams of space faring animals: Rocket Bears, Void Foxes, Comet Otters, and Star Hares as they compete for control of a series of cosmic Sectors.

At the start of each round, three Sector cards are revealed. Players take turns playing Character cards from their hands into any of the three active Sectors. Each Character has a printed Power value and a team ability, while many Sectors have special rules that alter how they are scored. Comet Otters can cycle cards from the hand, Void Foxes can be played face down, Rocket Bears can reveal hidden Foxes, and Star Hares can replace other Hares already in play.

When both players have three Characters in a Sector, that Sector is scored according to its rule. Some Sectors use the total Power of the Characters, while others reward specific teams, lower power cards, certain combinations, or alternate scoring conditions. The winner of each Sector claims that Sector card.

After all 21 Sectors have been played and claimed, the player with the most Sector cards wins the game and becomes the Cosmic Commander.
