With a childlike sense of glee, you temporarily discard your fedora and trench coat in favor of superhero spandex. For this weekend only, you're no longer a Will Street detective. You're just one more geek looking to find an escape from all the death and depravity you see in your line of work. The only crimes you hope to see this weekend will be drawn in four-color panels and accompanied by tag lines like "Zap!" and "Pow!" Yet, you've read way too many comics in your life and know that the hero rarely gets a break. The criminal element never sleeps. When it’s discovered someone is killing con attendees who are dressed as the popular comic book hero, Knight Detective, you get pulled into the case. Now that a comic book villain has come to life and is loose at Stargeek Comic Expo, is anyone really safe? It’s up to you to find and stop this super villain before more tragedy can unfold. As with all Deadbolt Mystery Society games, you step into the role of the detective. Examining the evidence provided, visiting different locations and using the password protected QR mechanic to uncover the truth.
Players win once they catch the killer, find what's missing or whatever else is needed to solve the case at hand.
