Based upon the popular The Men Who Would be Kings variant of the Rampant system, Bugles to the West is a set of wargame rules to play 'large skirmish' battles set on the North American Frontier. These conflicts include those of the Plains Wars, Canada and Mexico, with each having their own lists giving details of the specific troop types needed, leader traits, and special rules for that army. Also included are a variety of adaptable scenarios, all applicable to the wars covered as well as a number of specific historical scenarios that cover larger battles from the era.
