In Botanimagic, players take on the role of magic apprentices at the School of Botania, strategically growing magical plants across 3–4 shared biomes.
Each turn, players have options of actions: Plant, Take Seed, or Harvest. Plant allows players to place seeds in a biome, Take Seed lets players add a seed to their hand, Harvest allows players to collect points from a biome and trigger magical effects. Whenever a player Harvests a seed, they must replant it, either to upgrade their spellbook or to reserve turn priority for the next round.
The game lasts for 8 rounds. A Biome Event is triggered at the start of each round, and at the end of the round, each biome regenerates points based on the number of players present. When the final round ends, the player with the most harvested points becomes the most prized magic apprentice.
Plant seeds to occupy biomes, recruit companion plants to aid you during the game, cast magic to control the biomes, and strategize to influence the harvest yield.
