The world's powers are racing to infiltrate "Area 636" and steal fragments of a revolutionary technology known as A.E.G.I.S. — an artificial intelligence defense system that can predict and neutralize threats before they occur. Each player assumes the role of a special agent representing their nation's interests with distinct motivations and abilities that shape how they approach infiltration, sabotage, and survival.

Gameplay unfolds on a modular 7x7 map, representing the labyrinthine base filled with traps, secret passages, laser grids, and heavily armed security. Players explore, uncover tiles, gather data fragments, and face off against both automated defenses and rival agents. Each agent has unique powers and limited resources, and must balance risk and stealth — every misstep raises the alarm tracker, bringing the entire base closer to lockdown. Combat relies on dice rolls, tactical bonuses, and the clever use of ability cooldowns.

The goal is to be the first to collect enough A.E.G.I.S. data fragments and escape alive. In multiplayer, players can fight or sabotage each other. In solo mode, one agent must survive alone against the facility's defenses.
