Managing your resources and general productivity is key. You’ll also need to manage the papermaking process, planting trees, making pulp or manufacturing paper. Too much focus on one area can create inconsistency, so you’ll need to keep a balanced view. Although every player is competing to be the best, player actions are connected, so you must also work together to sustain the circular economy. No pulp means no paper, no planting means no trees, and so on. Meanwhile, don’t forget that everyone needs access to essential resources such as water and energy. In Arboro you play actions cards in order to go through the process of producing paper. With the produced pulp, energy and water you make paper, that you can sell to various customers and win by making the most money. Arboro is a promotional game from the paper manufacturer Sappi.
